My Creative Scrapbook March Kit Reveal

Good Morning! It's March 7th - have you checked out the Design team kit reveal at www.mycreativescrapbook.com? The design team has completed some amazing layouts to share with you. I can't believe I'm a part of the amazing team. As always, the kits are amazing this month..... Check it out. The Main Kit features My Minds Eye. The Limited Edition kit is full of Prima papers and flowers. Beautiful as always! Whether you like to bake or not the album kit will be a fun creation. Kristin, the album kit designer, created a "Recipe for a Happy Family" album this month. You'll love it! Check out the design team's sample on the website, www.mycreativescrapbook.com.
Lastly, as always, the Creative kit is my favorite. Everyone has a birthday so no matter who you scrapbook you'll be able to use this kit. Don't have birthday photos to scrap - this kit works for any happy page layout. You are sure to love it!
My first layout is a two pager featuring my son, Chase on his Second Birthday.
I made several additional layouts with this kit. My favorite is probably one of the last pages I created. I thought a lot about what I wanted to do with the straw that is included with the kit. The other designers used it with the yellow ribbon to make candles. I had a different vision for it. I made pinwheels. This layout features my son Charlie with his Grandma Mary celebrating his seventh birthday.
I have a tutorial coming up soon showing you how I created the ribbon flowers on this layout. It is super easy! This is not a birthday layout! Tino was celebrating his last day of summer "school" before moving up to the next age group for the fall. He's so cute!
Here is another layout that isn't celebrating a birthday although it must be close to a birthday because we had balloons around the house. Chase is always posing for silly photos. It's always a party with him around.
Since I'm on the topic of silly Chase, here is another layout featuring Chase being silly. I took this photo on our trip to Colorado this summer. He got a new bicycle helmet he had to wear in the car.
Back to a birthday layout. This layout features Tino enjoying his blue cupcakes. I had fun making the party hats.
Lastly, I couldn't help but make a card with some of my leftover materials. Believe it or not, I still have lots of material left over too.
Check back in the next few days. I am going to do it this month - I'm going to go through each layout and give you some close up photos and some tips on my creations. Please leave me some comments. I love knowing that people are actually looking at my blog. Have a great weekend. Joan
